Comments:

Welcome to the Magical Mystery Radio Contest. If someone held a contest deep in
the FT jungle and never published the results, did it really happen?

To my knowledge, no results have ever been published for this contest, or
whatever it is. I think it's a promotional activity for MSHV and WSJT-Z (Z as in
Zombie), the latter claiming to be a robot WSJT program.

We've been played and someone, somewhere is ROTFLHAO at us.

On a more positive note, this was good FT8 contest practice and I thought things
went smoother than ever before. I won't be able to get a LCR, but I'll be able
to tell something from the NILs in my eQSL results. So far I have received 80
eQSLs and only one of those is a NIL (in my log). That's a 1.25% error rate for
the reported QSOs. This is low FT error rate for me and a something I would hope
for in a CW, SSB or RTTY contest.

I was more aggressive in sending repeat RR73s when running stations went silent
after I sent them RR73. I tried to encourage stations that disappeared after my
RR73 to come back and assure me the QSO was good. When running or calling CQ, no
station should ever go silent after getting an RR73. The only exception is to
do an on-the-fly log fix (send 73) or if they decide to QSY elsewhere (also send
73).

I'm not sending in a log, as I don't want to look like a complete sucker.

73,
Ken, AB1J
