Comments:

Disappointed, frustrated...This wasn't the result I was expecting. I struggled
to get any reasonable rate going on 20m right out of the gate. The noise level
was quite high S5 to S7 and the even the usually strong stations weren't great.
It was frustrating to call CQ endlessly with very few replies. Good news was
that I was able to work a couple local PVRC friends on 10m and 15m for a couple
mults.

I thought I'd go to 40m early and found I had some strong local electrical noise
every 7 Khz that wiped out a bunch workable stations. Again, I was unable to
get any run rate. Frustration drove me to take an hour break about 90 minutes
after the start. Came back and conditions weren't much better. Still couldn't
get much going and decided to wait for the evening when 40m and 80m are
typically better.

40m was pretty good for a little while and the local electrical noise was gone.
Things were going pretty well for a bit and I bounced back and forth between 40m
and 80m. The static crashes on 80m were pretty bad from storms in the distance.
I did jump down to 160m a couple times and picked up a few mults. There were
just a few stations that rose above the static crashes long enough to hear them.
I appreciate the patience of the ops taking the time to pull my 100W signal out
of the noise. Thanks for those extra mults.

It was good to work many familiar stations especially the many fellow PVRC
members on the east coast. Hope conditions for the next contest are better this
past weekend.

Eric - NR4O

I hope conditions are better for the
