IC-7610 + Acom 1000 + Steppir 3/40 + 80M full-size vertical

Great weekend on the radio. Didn't bother checking 10M but 15M was in good shape
for NA even if DX was a little thin.

20M was the money band, as expected, though the morning EU openings weren't all
that strong and are way too brief for my liking at this part of the solar cycle.


Happily surprised by 80M, where the Qs just seemed to keep coming. Ended up with
a 230 percent improvement on 80M over last year thanks in large part to the new
receive antenna. Guess it's true: you can't work 'em if you can't hear 'em. Must
have been missing a lot of points on 80M until now.

Only disappointing band was 40M, but with just a low dipole there I didn't
expect much more than I ended up with.

Thanks to everyone for the contacts. A personal second-best feels pretty good
considering EU was unavailable on 15M and no Qs on 10M.
