Comments:

Would have normally done all band, but XYL had foot surgery so I had to be in
charge of the dogs during the day. Decided I would try single band 40M, since
the dogs mostly sleep during the night. Could not run EU the first night, but JA
path was in good shape. Did have one short run of DL/G/F around 0800Z. Nice
short LP opening bagged 5 quick new mults.

Starting up again on Saturday evening, all I could find were KW stations I had
already worked. Then, it started snowing and snow static covered up most
signals. The final straw was some kind of solar event that "flattened the
curve" on my panadaptor. The only signals were Texans! I was not feeling
that energetic, so decided to throw in the towel and watch a movie then go to
bed. Found a few Q's in the morning but could not find the last mult to make 3/4
DXCC.

20M seemed in good shape, so did a very casual second single band entry as
NE0F.

My overall impression was that there were not nearly as many mults available as
in past years.
