Club: Potomac Valley Radio Club

Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care 
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. N3UM and 
W3GB operated Multi-2 in the Jan. 2020 ARRL RTTY Roundup. 

For years, we did ~100-300 Qs in NAQP RTTY for PVRC. A more serious 
effort in 9/19 CQ RTTY got us 706 claimed Qs and good practice; 
we claimed 830 Qs and 97 mults in the 1/20 ARRL RTTY. We weren’t 
sure we could do any better this year. But, we did; 1220 Qs, 103 
mults, and 125.7K vs 80.5K claimed 1/20. It helped that SFI was 
82 vs 70, Kp was 0 or 1, and more hams were home and active. 

At start 18-22Z N3UM ran on 40 M for 130 of 142 Qs, 10 cty mults, 
and 28 St/Pv mults out to KS and NE. After a supper break and 82 
Qs on 80 M, N3UM quit at 0125 to sleep and return early. 

On the late shift W3GB did well; 1920-2254Z he ran on 20 M for 101 
of 127 Qs, KH6 and 3 more cty mults, and 15 far-west St/Pv mults. 
Then 2312-0446Z he ran on 40 M for 213 of 220 Qs, 18 cty mults, 
and 5 St/Pv mults. A last 133 Qs plus NH, UT, and MT on 80 M(!) from 
04 to 0730Z QRT got us to 708 Qs and 75 of our final 103 total mults. 

Sun. AM 13-1606Z N3UM ran on 20 M for 111 of 125 Qs and 11 cty 
mults, mostly EUs. On 20 M 1630-22Z W3GB got 270 Qs, 218 in a great 
run 1704-2024 at 66/hr. He then got a last 21 Qs on 40 M by 2308Z QRT. 

N3UM 17-22Z got 56 Qs on 40 M and all of our 38 Qs and 2 ctys on 15M. 

We got 49 states plus DC, all but DE!
