Comments:

Operated QRP Portable from SOTA Summit W7A/MN-119 for this combo event: The W7A
s2s (Summit to Summit) Madness Event, and the ARRL January VHF Contest.

Bands were jammed with home stations, Rovers, and SOTA operators from many
mountain top locations. It was even busier than last year, and it was hard to
find a clear frequency to operate on at times. Managed to work over 140 miles on
less than 5 watts on a number of bands.

Had fun except for the hike up the mountain with 40 pounds of
equipment...luckily my pack was lighter than last year! I left the kitchen sink
home...

All contacts made on SSB or FM this year.
