Comments:

This from our summer home on Bois Blanc Island in northern Michigan.....  ran an
old TS-830S without any CAT control and used N1MM strictly for simple contact
logging

20/15/10 meter fan dipole at 20 feet limited zones and 5 point QSOs, but had fun
making the contacts I did.  Next year I'll try to get something that'll load up
on 40.

Sure wish I could export the noise environment from here to my Florida QTH. 
With appliances off and wall worts disconnected, all I hear is a nice hissing
sound.  Wonderful!

PS  I did take a couple hours of prime time off in the evening to go fishing and
did haul in a nice 20+ inch smallmouth bass!  (Of course, my wife's cell phone
camera malfunctioned.....)
