Wow, what happened to the bands?  It sounds like we slipped back into Cycle 24.

Nonetheless, it was fun CQ'ing on 40m, and putting four new stations in my log
(which now contains over 44 years of QSOs):  KA8VZB, K3BTE, N2FZ and KC1V.
