Comments:

Almost didn't get to play; after two QSOs my primary radio stopped modulating.
Switched to my other radio. Still not sure about the fancy new electronic
thermostats so I kept the power low and worked who I could hear. The overall
pace of operators seemed slow this year for some reason.. slow to CQ, slow to
respond. QSB was also pretty steep. Still fun.
