Wow! That was an interesting QP. Thank you once again to all those I was able to
contact Saturday. Glad to see 10 and 15 Meters opening to more activity. Band
conditions from the Midwest black hole were 'fun' as usual. I really got a kick
out of K0JP's comment, and I agree, about 80-meters sounding like trying to work
stations through a few layers of cheese cloth! At first I thought I was having
problems with my rig or audio cabling, but it was likely the storms, wildfire
smoke, and band conditions affecting the overall audio quality. Antenna
improvements continue to help; although I didn't have as many contacts this QP,
I did set a new personal best for my mults over previous RTTY QP's.
