Comments:

My internal clock woke me up just a few 
minutes before SST. Everything was tuned 
for 14 MHz and conditions were good. In 
the dark with my eyes closed I scanned the 
usual 15 kHz range three times and got most 
stations upon first call, mainly East Coast 
and some IL/WI. Heard VE2FK. TX was hard 
to reach. After mid-SST condx weakened.

Despite small spots, the official Wolf-number 
for sunspots is zero, and background X-rays 
very low. Not much above solar minimum, but 
almost a full daylight path in nighttime June 
for the USA.
