Comments:

Part time effort. Was going to sit this one out entirely, so that I could get
sleep and do Father's Day with my college-age kids, but at the last minute, got
on from the excellent K6MTU mountain-top station and was sucked in to the
contesting flow. Still, forced myself to quit half way through each night to get
sleep. That meant missing most of the QSO volume, as well as 80m, but I still
had fun.

Spent the most time on 20m because it was open in the day. It was quite noisy
with many weak signals requiring multiple repeats. Still, was happy to work into
the middle east and vicinity, including 4X, HZ, P3 and UN. The first night, was
running JAs from 0500-0720, but it was a struggle with QRN/QSB. Then switched to
40, where signals were loud and rates shot up. All 40m Qs were within 0730-0930.

Second day, 20m was similar, struggling until about 0730, when propagation
suddenly switched on like a light bulb. I went from being spotted in JA at under
10dB to 25dB or more, the callers got loud, those who couldn't hear me calling
before now called me, and the rate shot up. I tried moving over to 40m at 0800,
but it was still much better on 20m, so went back until I forced myself to quit
and go to bed, leaving many Qs on the table. Maybe next year will do this one
seriously.

Many thanks to Kevin K6TD for FB station and support via Slack.
