Comments:

Started on 80, but after the 2K-FA's ATU tuned to 1:1 under power SWR rose to
~5:1 and amp shut down. Tried 160 and got 1:1 even under the 500w the antenna
allows. On 40, same *High SWR, cannot tune* as on 80, but got 1:1 on 20 so I was
happy to work a few Europeans there. 

Trying 40 again at 1335, I found 1.15:1 even under power and picked up a few
there, and found the HF9V OK now even on 80 (one lone op still there at 1355).
That 80-40 coil assembly must be wet or frozen (warming up or drying off later),
but I recall no such problem when the vertical was on the roof.
