Comments:

What a disaster! What happened to propagation Saturday evening? I almost thought
Murphy had gotten into my FT-450D radio! How weird, what stations were there
were barely readable. 40M was virtually gone, but then began to improve about
22:00 Local time. The last hour I managed to work KH7M,JF9JTS, ZM4T, and PT5J.
There were several SAm stations, but they were in slow, deep QSB and none of
them heard my calls except PT5J. The whole event was like a strange nightmare. I
sure hope next year will be better and I'll still be here to run it. I hope
