Comments:

With no infrastructure between us, it is awesome that a transmitter and antenna
half a world away can tickle enough electrons in my first RF amp to pick up the
enthusiasm of another ham like me.  What fun!

The power supply and watt meter were trouble-free (but everything else needed
attention).
