Comments:

Strictly search and pounce here. Quarter wave slopers hung low 
(38 feet for 15/20M, 22 feet for 40/80M) preclude calling CQ. 
I tried it for 5 minutes or so on 80 and had only one caller. 
Surprisingly, the really low 80/40 wire outperformed the 
higher 20/15 wire. I spent nearly 3 hours trying to work 
VP2EE on 15M ! Only after everyone else in the country 
worked him was I able to break through. The highlight of 
the contest was working Australian on both 80 and 40, and 
New Caledonia on 40 with my puny antenna !
