Comments:

This was a contest that was supposed to be a relaxing SOAB CW effort. However,
W4IX and AA7V became available to come to the station and enjoy running the
hardware. It was very good as we were able to help get ready for WPX CW as a
large crew is coming out.

We all noticed how many 7's came out to enjoy this contest! It was eye opening.

The new MOAS system really helped us take advantage of the beverages that W4IX
helped improve upon before WPX SSB. I chose to use it in an RX only function,
relying on GHE for the TX side of switching as it has a learning curve. It will
be awesome to see what NN1C has up his sleeve for the MOAS and further improved
switching capabilities here for WPX CW!

AA7V donated a 91B to the station and it worked flawlessly along side some new
to the station Alpha 87A's that were just recently procured from N5ZO's QTH.

The Icom 7610's proved to be great radios in this expanded environment. RG400
was added to the equipment shed around all the various VA6AM filters and Hamplus
8x4.

Next up is WPX CW with an all star lineup, the like of which I never imagined
would grace this old dusty western town! Hector, XE2K, will be over beforehand
to put up some homebrew 7 el OWA's for 15m JA use. The constant quest for
improvement continues...

For those watching the Online Scoreboards... there seems to be a problem with
scoring and the software that we used in this one. The above score should hold
minus any operator errors.

Thanks for all the Q's and 73,

N6WIN, W4IX, and AA7V.

Green Heron Everyware switching worked great driving OK2ZAW stack matches, K7NV
prop-pitches, and 80m Tornado tuner. The new NN1C/W9KKN MOAS centered system was
a treat to use.
