Comments:
This was a one-radio, no-cluster, Classic operation with low expectations due to
forecasts of a CME and thunderstorms for Saturday night.
Took a break Friday night and slept 9 hours Saturday night with everything
disconnected and unplugged in case we had lightning (we didn't).
Was amazed when 10M opened a little bit on Saturday then a LOT on Sunday. Pretty
sure I missed a good part of the 10M fun, but when I got there, it was cool to
get the "last-10" rate meter over 400 for a few minutes.
The 24-hour Classic score is about 3M. I have no idea how to optimize the score
in that overlay category. Sure had a lot of fun though.
Great to see so many contest DXpeditions on again. Are we back to normal yet?
Can we arrange for another predicted CME for the CW weekend?
IC7610, AL-1200, Skyhawk tribander at 70 feet, 402-CD at 80 feet, Inverted Ls
for 80 & 160. My big station in Maine needs a lot of work due to lack of
maintenance the past couple of years. Kind of interesting to see what can be
done with just a tribander and wires.
