Comments:
Last year, we missed the M/S record by 1 Q after log checking and we were ready
to come back even harder this year. Unfortunately we had to make a change in
plans at the last minute and I found myself in the chair as a single op.
***NOTE TO SELF*** If given the opportunity to do single op in the contest,
just say no!
The Sunday doldrums were tough, and I have a lot of respect for the guys who do
this single op every year. It gets boring as a M/S too, but at least you have a
team working with you.
Congrats to all the big scores out there. I am hoping for a top 5 finish. N1MM
was doing something where instead of logging the Q, it would just wipe all the
data. This happened at least a dozen times throughout the weekend and there was
no rhyme or reason to it. If I duped you again later on I apologize.
The Icom 7610's worked FB again and continue to be a mainstay radio for ND7K.
The team will be on again in SS SSB as a MSHP in a couple weekends before WW
CW.
