Comments:

A lot went right this year versus last and only a handful of things didn't. The
noise floor was much much better than last year on 40m and the 80m dipole played
a lot nicer. Our 40m dipole at 80' developed an issue on Thursday afternoon so
we had to punt and were able to get a 40m sloper up for the weekend.

Conditions were interesting - first two hours were a little disappointing
compared to the previous two years but we made the best of it. When we went QRT
early Sunday morning, we had 82 sections (missing WTX (odd) and NT). I wasn't
too worried about NT as I figured we would log VY0ERC on Sunday - little did I
know I wouldn't see them at all on Sunday. Fortunately, right before lunch on
Sunday VY1CO called and that only left us with WTX. We heard a station from WTX
on 15 who had a pile and we were just blowing right over them. Early in the
afternoon we had a station call us on 20 which completed the sweep and we later
worked another WTX station on 40 (only heard 3 the entire weekend).

We participated in the live scoreboard again and it was a lot of fun jockeying
with the other stations throughout the contest.
