Comments:

This was the highest scoring Multi-Two operation that we have done from this
Florida QTH.  Ops were Tom, K4NMR, Jim, K8MR, Mike, NE8P, Steve, K4EU, and
George, K5KG. This 5-operator team really pulled their weight by keeping the two
stations engaged with very little down-time.  Tom, Jim and Steve have been
regulars at the K5KG station for the past few years, and Mike was a new and
welcome addition.  Jim, AA4NP was to have been with us, but he was on assignment
in Ukraine, and didn't make it home in time to join us. Hopefully, Jim will be a
new addition the next go-round. Joe, KW1K, our other team member was a bid under
the wx, and was unable to make the trek this weekend. He'll be with us the next
time.

Overall, band conditions were reasonably good, although 10m failed to offer up
any significant fodder over the weekend. The money bands of course were 40m and
20m. A low-slung 10m yagi fixed on SA added nicely to our 10m count. 160m
offered up some juicy treats, not the least of which were double-mults from LZ9W
in the 58th minute of the contest!

The station configuration consisted of two Elecraft K3's. One K3 was pared with
a KPA1500 amp and the other with a KPA500.  New to the station were two
automatic-switching 100w band pass filters.  These BP filters replaced the old
ICE 419 filters that were manually switched by the ops when changing bands.
These new filters provide improved BP filtering over the old ICE 419's.  

Antennas are a WU2X Triband yagi at 60' and a 2el 40m yagi at 75'.  Both
stations access the triband yagi through a VA6AM high power Triplexer and high
pass band pass filters, thereby, giving the two station operators access to any
combination of 10, 15, and 20 meters simultaneously.  A 6el 10m yagi @ 30' faces
south to provide SA and Caribbean coverage.  Low band antennas are a OCF dipole
at 60' for 80m and an inverted L for 160m.  All antenna switching is done
automatically through the use of Hamation 2x8 antenna switch and Integrated
Switch Control hardware interfaced to the K3 transceivers.
