Comments:

The remnants of hurricane Ida came through our area today. From about 6:30 pm to
7:45 pm we were under a tornado warning and a few were confirmed.  One even
passed nearby from what I saw on the news (via an iPad in my basement).  We
dodged that bullet but the extraordinarily heavy rains put a small amount of
water in our basement.  About 1/4" deep in some large puddles, mostly
cleaned up with the shop vac (about 15-16 gallons I estimate) but that kept me
busy till 11:30 pm EDT so I missed the first half.
