Comments:

Missed the 1900Z session. Dad in the ER. First CWT that I missed in years.

No network, no spots, but did get automatic sending working. I was gone so much
in the last couple days that I did not make much progress improving the network
in the house and shack. Most of the problems seem to be getting DNS to the
shack. Still need to work on SO2R, but not until the Flex equipment reliably
connect to each other.

I was surprised that 40 was so productive. In the winter I tend to get squished
on that band. 80 was OK, noisy with midwest storms, weaker signals, and not as
much activity. This is quite different from the winter on 80. The 4 square
helped with the weaker signals, but it would be best to have omnidirectional
mode. I could connect the inverted vee and 4 square together.

Lots of CQing at the end. 80 was not as productive as in the past where I could
get some really good rate during the last 15 minutes. A quick check when
getting on the band showed that overall signal strength was not strong.

DXE sent tubing with a larger diameter, so I could discard the upper sections
which bent in the wind. Excellent dealing with them. I updated two of the
verticals so I can compare how they handle the wind. Long term I will have to
add some guy wires. I have a lot of work to do to carry in buckets of dirt from
the field and cover up the radials that were placed in the field. Those in the
grass covered well. But, it is so muddy. This time last year the fields were
being planted. There has not been any activity with farm equipment yet this
year. We may have snow tomorrow
