Made a QRP effort this year, in deference to my good friend, W4QO (SK).

Operated from Fannin county location, simple set up.  Had lots of fun, stayed
busy, and the radio was a joy to operate.  However, giving up the extra 95 watts
as a low power station hindered the QSO rate compared to prior years.  Got some
very nice unsolicited comments on the signal at times, and also a fair share of
5x4s and 5x5s. (and I thought the exchange was supposed to be 5x9).

Besides the usual DL3DXX and OM2VL, it was a pleasant surprise when my 5 watt
CQs were heard in Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, and Norway.  Also bagged 42
states, although struggled to hear 7 landers, SD, RI, & HI.

Enjoyed connecting with many friends and thanks to all that heard me.
