Missed the first hour. Skipped a local high point for a one destination
operation. That may have cost me more local contacts. The Malahat 
Summit was an interesting aerie however the highway noise was nearly 
unbearable. Not too many tourists. I talked about ham radio a half a
dozen fun times. Refining my VHF responses (making a box shape with 
my fingers, calling Grids "small countries.") Nice folks. Had a fine
example of how valuable it is to have (or be) a Rover with one contact
giving me the extra grid and half my contacts.
