Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care 
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. For the 
2022 CQ WW CW, I (N3UM) was the only CW op. I did SOHP Assisted. 

My goal was to beat the 1.09 M score I claimed in 2021. I did 
that, with 0.98 X the QSO pts in 1.05 X the BIC hrs, but 1.17 X 
the total mults to claim a 1.25 M score. SFI of 110 in ’22 vs 90 
in ’21 drove that huge jump in mults; -19 on low bands, but +92 
on high bands this year. 

At start on 40 M I ran for 53 Qs in 44 min, 72/hr. Then, 10-min 
rate fell to 54/hr. So I clicked spots, and got 60/hr for 2.2 hrs 
and a total 185 Qs + 84 mults at 03Z. On 80 M at 0313Z; QSB, QRN, 
and repeats. I got 81 Qs at 38/hr and 56 mults by QRT at 0456Z. 

On 20 M 1305-1516Z I got 146 Qs; 71 were in my last run in this 
contest, at 78/hr. On 15 M after 1518Z I got 51 Qs. On 20 and 15 M, 
a total of 76 ctys and 18 zones by 1806Z QRT to eat. 

Back 1821-2127Z on 20 thru 10 M, I worked all spots on one band 
while they built back up on the others. On 15 M 53 Qs, 20 M 23 Qs, 
and 72 mults total on both bands. First time on 10-M 20-21Z; just 
42 Qs, but 20 ctys & 13 zones. 

After supper 2325-0145Z I got 39 40-M Qs, then 18 Qs on 20 M and 
10 each on 80 & 160 M. On all 4 bands, 34 more ctys and 15 zones. 

Back at 1353Z after enough sleep, I got 9 20-M Qs with mults in 
10 min, then 61 15-M Qs in 62 minutes. By 1613Z QRT to eat I got 
41 more 10-M Qs. Total for the morning 59 ctys and 10 zones. 

After lunch 1856-2229Z I scraped up a last few high-band Qs; 
31 on 10 M, 18 on 15M, and 45 on 20 M, plus 26 ctys and 7 zones. 
Then 2233-2311Z I got 42 last Qs but no mults on 40 M. 

Rare mults; 3B9, C5, JW, and UN, plus 5W, KH2, OH0, & ZD7 on 15 M only.
