It's been a rough season for 160m ops out west and this contest is no exception.
Thunderstorm QRN to the South, high absorption with deep QSB. No EU. Not even a
tickle from EA. None worked this season.....Only a few JA the first night and no
KL7 until Sunday AM. I had a mini JA run at sunrise and ZL1. DS3XX called but
likely a broken QSO as QSB took it's toll. In normal conditions they would be
there all morning.

Good old 160m where conditions constantly change and do it rapidly.

I was breaking in a new SunSDR2DX at the remote site so all is not lost! LOL
