Comments:

This was an experience I would rather forget. I had a flu shot Friday which may
have made me feel more tired that night and definitely caused some lethargy and
runny nose Saturday afternoon and a bit in the evening. Local noise was about S3
with NO preamps turned on the FTDX101D, S7 with preamp 1. I never heard a static
crash above this noise the whole time. About 15% of my Q's required
repeats/digging out out the noise. Perhaps the best condx were around 02Z the
first night when I heard YL7X well above the noise call a local and I managed to
work IZ8EPX. My only other EU was a call from OM2VL around 0440Z when I was back
on getting him and just a few western mults. Night 2 started with easy to work
MN stations at my sunset, but the band never opened much at all to the west and
northwest past MN. I worked nothing from VE4-8,ID,OR, or WA the whole test.

N1MM+ shows best 60 minutes at 0139Z, had one minute with 5 Q's. Overall rate
was 93/hr. Many thanks for all of the calls and QSO's. Except for the noise,
stations east of the MS River were pretty easy to work. I worked all east of
there sections except PE, NL, and PR just barely getting WV.

73, Jeff
