Comments:

My first full effort in the 10 meter contest. Something I always wanted to do,
though I have done this contest many times (since licensed in 2006). Conditions
wise, nothing really at all interesting to note. The EU runs were very short and
ended quickly when they did (1230 - 1530z). 811 qsos (33%) were EU. Was hoping
for a lot more. 202 (8%) were South America (felt like more than that). 58%
North America. Worked some south pacific stations at a variety of hours. No JA
here. During the grey lines I tried both long and short path both calling and
tuning for any JA. Really struggled for multipliers on Sunday. Highest rate was
182q/hr at 13:00z Saturday (EU). Nice to complete my worked all hams in Texas
award in one weekend.

I have to give a special shout out to the YONKERS AMATEUR RADIO CLUB. I was
sitting at 2390 qsos and the bands shut down around 23:30z (end of contest). I
was really bummed realizing I couldn't clip 2400 qsos. It turned out the Yonkers
Amateur Radio Club had a net starting at 00:00z, and I was able to work 10
members who hadn't been contesting before their net started! I just worked 2400
(KD2D) right before the contest ended. Though I am not a member, now I suppose I
should be!

Thanks for the q's and mults. Thanks to Tariq, N2QV, for use of his station. But
he better watch out, I might try taking legal ownership ;)

73,
Scott, WU2X
