Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. As the only
available CW op, I (N3UM) did SOHP in the Dec. 202 Stew Perry.

>From my 2016, 2018, and 2021 SOHP results, I expected to get ~360
to 420 Qs and ~1 to 1.3K points. Nope; I got 376 Qs but only 824
points. Why? Only 1 EU Q, vs 26 to 31 in the comparison 3 years. And,
just 0.4X the 2.0K points and 85 EU Qs in 2019, my best SO Stew P.

My 2105Z start was fast and fun; 13 S&P Qs on big sigs in 10 min,
then a run of 178 Qs at 67/hr by 2356Z. And I got my only EU, a G, at
2258Z for 12 pts!

After a break, rate slowed, 30 Qs in 47 min. The 21-01Z total was OK,
221 Qs vs 225 to 236 in those 4 hrs in 4 past years. BUT, rates were
way below average 01Z to 0550Z QRT; just 22 to 31 Qs and 54 to 81
points in all but the 02Z hr, in which I got 52 Qs and 121 points.

I got a total 10 Qs to the far W and S worth 7 or 8 pts, vs 16 to
27 in past years. I ran some, but rates died after 12 to 66 Qs.
Most CQs were from dupes, so S&P got few Qs. After 0545Z I could
find no one to work, so I quit to sleep. I enjoyed the operating,
but expected a better score. Top band can be feast or famine.
