Comments:

This is far from my best ever score, however, it is my most memorable operating
experience in NAQP. I operated portable from my truck parked in a school parking
lot in Sedona, Arizona. My entire station was set up inside the truck. I used an
Elecraft K3S, N1MM+ software and one portable dipole antenna strapped to my
truck bed on a 15-foot portable mast. The antenna was cut for 20-meters and
worked well there. I used the tuner inside the K3S to tune all the other bands.
Surprisingly, I was able to tune it on 40-meters to pick up some mults there. I
was limited to daylight hours so I only operated 5 hours. I picked the location
because it is high on a hill with a sharp dropoff all around and the mountains
about 2 to 5 miles distant. It was a beautiful spot to contest from and the
weather cooperated with temps in the 50's. Thank you for all the contacts and
for making this contest so enjoyable!
