Comments:
First of all, I am very thankful to Vicenç (EA6FO), and very specially to Julio
(EA3AIR) and Patro (Julio's XYL) for their hospitality and their great support
before, during, and after the contest.
As I did on previous occasions, I arrived to the island on Wednesday night, and
together with Julio, we spent Thursday before and after work (fortunately I have
a job that allows me to work remotely) and the whole Friday, setting up the
necessary things for the contest. The station worked wonderfully during the
whole 24h.
Regarding the operation, I felt for the first time very comfortable with the two
radios, it seems that I'm finally getting the reward from the training sessions
with DXLog plus the experience from previous contests. I (think I) more or less
managed to handle the situations in which I was being desynchronized, and I
don't recall moments being overwhelmed by the pileups. Still some situations to
be improved, like passing multipliers from one radio to the other, but in
general pretty happy :)
Thank you very much to everyone who called! I took this contest as training for
the final exam in November (CQWW). If Murphy allows, see you then!
