Comments:

The noise level on both 7 and 14 MHz was surprisingly 
low, and it was the first time I activated PreAmp1 on 
the IC-7300. There was a C1.2 flare just before the 
session pumping the daylight F2-layer, but there was 
also sporadic E at least up to 50 MHz.

Starting with 7 MHz the QSO count went nicely over 
30 in the first half hour. On 14 MHz there were 
just N4BP ans K1DJ from the USA-side, and overall 
fairly low European activity. Almost got the same 
number of QSO's on 14 MHz as on 7 MHz.
