Comments:

Strange conditions on 20m this evening in the midwestern USA.  Some stations'
signals would be relatively strong for a minute to two, then drop to near
nothing.  Up and down, down and up.

Even so, managed 27 QSOs and put two new stations in my 45-year old log:  NF6R
and NJ6Q.  Glad to work you both!
