Comments:

Good start on 40 with 20 in the first 5 minutes.  I sure wish I was loud enough
to sustain this for a longer period. Signals were strong, but not much on from
the midwest.  40 WPM.  At 1315Z had 51. WN7S, KB3ML, and W3BG were loud on 40M. 
At 1330Z had 97, but at 1340Z rate dropped, so S&P.  Went to 20M for the
last 10 minutes.  No rate, but lots of activity.

Monthly cancer visit yesterday. CT shows stable, but vitamins are really messed
up.  I'm tired and take about 5 hours of naps a day!  No progress on the
station, but it is so hot and dry that the grass is not growing, so I have a
break from mowing.

Oldest grandson, 14 yrs., will go with me for Field Day!  He is quite a trooper
in hot, cold, and wet conditions and would be a excellent worker on a
DXpedition.  If he gets interested in radio he will have to remote into my
station to operate and I will bring him on a DXpedition if I am well enough
myself.
