Comments:

I regret not running 1E, as there was an inconvenient power outage at 0100Z
which nuked N1MM. After trying several ini backups and wondering if the log was
lost, I finally found an old .bak which allowed me to recover the file and
continue operating.

I also unchecked "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder
Options to help ensure that I wasn't making part of the problem when renaming a
.bak file.
