Comments:

It was great to be back on 40 meters (for the first time since November of
2021).  I put the 'porch portable' station back on the air, since the weather
was pretty much perfect (sunny, 65 degrees).  I had to contend with a lot of
construction noise (compressors, pneumatic nail guns, reciprocal saws) as two
houses are being built right next to me.  The noise cancelling 'phones helped a
bit - but it was mainly the rate which made me happy.  Tnx QSOs!

It was nice to work a lot of calls I haven't heard in the past six months, when
I was limited to 20 meters.  I hope to be on 40 (and 80) more throughout the
summer months.
