This is exactly what is meant by weak signal vhf/uhf contacts!!! 
   This was a repeat of last year. The weather changed just like last year the
day of the sprint.
   The cold and rain came. Lots of contacts that were easy copy last week were
darn near impossible this week.
   Those running only radio power were darn near impossible to work on ssb or
FT8 at 100 to 200 miles away. 
   While those running 500 to 1500 watts were still great copy at 300 to 400
miles away. 
   Wish more would spend some $$$ on a big amp and big yagi for this band.
   Any chance the 144/222/432 sprints can be moved to one week earlier. This way
the cold and rain won't mess up a good time. 
   Also, Once the East coast guys were done the possible contacts were pretty
much gone for us in the central part of the country.
   Please combine the East and Central for next year. Please.
   My setup for this-> Rig::: Icom 7300 to Transverter to W6PQL 1Kw amp to M2
432-9WL at 72 Ft.
