Conditions here were pretty noisy, but when you don't have any Rx Antennas
anymore
most everything on a 160 contest seems noisy.  But 160 is my favorite band and I
have missed being on here for all the contests.  Just running a 140'long wire
now and tuning it with an HF-Auto Palstar tuner, a far cry from my phased
verticals and 6-550' beverages of years ago.  Still all in all I enjoy this band
and it is definitely a challenge to operate on especially if you want to work
real DX.
