Comments:

Wow, I tried something different this year. Since my tribander still waiting on
tower crew to lower for repair, I thought I might experiment with a part time
low power effort using my full wave 160 meter loop as my antenna. It matched
with a 1:1 swr using my tuner but I had no idea what kind of radiation pattern
it might have. It was pretty noisy and seemed to prefer signals to the west. But
I ended up pretty much amazed what I was able to work. Getting any runs started
was a non-starter and I had to get used to not being the first to get answered,
but I was able to pretty much able to work anything I could hear. Got one new
country for my RTTY dx total (212) and Zone 2 for 40 zones on RTTY. No JA's or
ZL but wkd some VK's and some EU on Sunday morning. Thanks for all the Q's...
