Comments:

Second time active with this call and this location 
during the last 13 months. The snow has melted thus 
allowing some outside antenna improvements. Aurora 
(or at least its forecast) peaked 85 GW during CWT.
Surprised to work some USA on 14 MHz (hiss/flutter).
  
Signals on 21 MHz were a bit stronger and distant, 
like Kev VK6T. From the West VE3NRT W1KM K3MM NO5W. 
I could not catch the booming Southern Europeans.

Did run with the over-tall vertical fitted with 
7/14 MHz directors on 21 MHz (tuner force-feed).  
Antennas for comparison would be appropriate.
