Comments:

At the start, we were hopeful for 10 and 15 meters; however we have learned from
experience that our location in north Louisiana often does not get the same
openings as the east and west coasts. This time, 10 was non-existent, and 15
only fleeting.

For Run1 WM5H opened on 20m, with Run 2 manned by W5WZ to run 10m with KD5YS on
the in-band S&P. 15 minutes in we moved from 10m to 15m. 20m was generating
good but not spectacular rate, and we kept a radio on 20m until about an hour
after local sunset.

The big surprise was how quiet the low bands were. Normally 160m in August is a
no-go for us, and 80m is noisy; this time W5WZ had some great rates on 80m
utilizing the 4-sq for both TX and RX.

On the S&P rig, we again utilized the special 1/2" EMT conduit
vertical, and also employed a tri-band yagi at 8 feet above ground, with
surprisingly good results. KD5YS was the primary in-band op, generating nearly
15% of the total QSOs throughout the contest.

No station issues. N1MM crashed once on two differnent computers.

Food as always was good and more than needed. We smoked a pork shoulder during
the contest, had the fantastic deli meats, breads, and cheeses that WM5H always
brings. KD5YS favored us with a fruit tray and veggie tray. Some cake was also
here.
