Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care 
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. As the 
only CW op I (N3UM) did SOHP Assisted in the 2023 CQ 160 CW test. 

I hoped to beat the 2018 707-QSO best total W3GB and I got doing 
M-1 HP 2016-2021. I did that, with 727 Qs. BUT, my 215 K score 
claim was 3rd, after 236 K in 2018 and 306 K in 2020. Why? We got 
52 Cty mults in 2018 and 60 in 2020, vs my 40 in 2023. I got 35 Cty 
mults with great condx the 1st night, but just 5 with ~OK condx the 
2nd night. And, I got 59 10-pt Qs the 1st night, but 27 the 2nd night. 

At start I ran 22-2352Z for 159 Qs in 1.8 hrs, 87/hr, plus 32 
St/Pv mults out to MN & IA. I then clicked spots for 4 EUs and 
PJ2T in 5 min, 2254-2259Z, then 00-01Z I got 52 Qs, 12 EU and SA 
Cty mults, and 5 St/Pv mults. 

I ran at 79/hr for 43 of 60 Qs and 4 mults 01-02Z. Then from 02 to 
0555Z QRT I clicked at 27-37/hr for 127 Qs, 10 St/Pv mults out to SK, 
WA, AB, & OR, 40 10-pt Qs, and 17 Cty mults; KH6 (!) and many EUs. 

The 2nd night, 2134-0604Z, I got 5 fast but short runs, 50-75/hr but 
only 11 to 34 Qs, plus one of 60 Qs in 1 hr. When rate died I worked 
all good spots, and then ran again. I got 4 last St/Pv mults by 0210Z; 
MS, NE, PE, & NM. The last 5 Cty mults were IG9 & LY 22-00Z, YL at 
0410Z, and UR and UA 05-06Z. I got 324 Qs the 2nd night, but 87% were 
W/K. I missed ND, SD, DC, and NV, plus MB, BC, and the 3 NTs in VE.
