Comments:

Well that was brutal.  Thunderstorms around KS, OK, and AR as well as FL made it
very difficult and the only time my pennant RX antennas were of much help was
when pointed back toward the East Coast due to the Thunderstorms.  On the bright
side it sure was easy finding a clear run frequency with no one calling CQ just
a few hundred KHz away.  Fun as always working Topband friends and thanks to all
that made an appearance as there is nothing like 160 meters.

Transceiver: Kenwood TS-180s (100 watts) with 500 Hz IF filter
TX Antenna: 68 foot base loaded vertical wire hanging straight down from a very
tall Sycamore tree with 55 short buried radials (2500 feet of radials)
RX Antennas: 3 small point fed pennants (pointing 40, 160, and 300 degrees).
Audio Filter: Hi-Per-Mite active audio filter (200 Hz bandwidth).
