Comments:
Thanks as always to Andrew ZF1EJ and CARS for hosting us. Since Marty and I
were just here 2 weeks ago for CW there really wasn't a ton that had to be done
to get the station ready. All 3 of us arrived on Thursday afternoon and we had
the station ready to go by the evening. Everything worked great and we felt
very loud all weekend. It was nice to have 10m open this year although it took
a while to get going for us on Sunday morning.
Thanks to all the stations that moved or agreed to a sked. Not all of these
worked out be we greatly appreciate the ops that were willing to try to help us
out. 160m was especially difficult this weekend with many failed moves.
It was a lot of fun to watch all the other competitors on the scoreboard. There
were quite a few serious M/S operations in the Caribbean and most of them were
on the scoreboard. Congrats to a great showing from ZF5T, NP4Z and J68HZ. I
would like to give a special mention to Felipe NP4Z for opening up his station
to several young hams.
