Comments:

Time was limited this weekend as I had some conflicts this weekend with 2 NHL
hockey games to attend and some family stuff to deal with. I probably spent a
little too much time on S&P Friday evening. But, the low bands were very
noisy here. Pulled the plug a bit earlier than usual as I was feeling tired.
Saturday was an all around better day with the limited time I was able to
operate. Got a nice run on 20m late afternoon after finding a good spot at the
low end of the band. I typically have a hard time holding a frequency on 20m.
Several good reports of booming signal from the EU. Jumped back into the fray
Saturday after returning from the hockey game and found 80 and 40m in real good
shape. I was able to S&P across 40m to pick up a bunch of mults. Then the
same up on 80m before finding a run frequency for good high rate burst of Q's.
Then went back to 40 and surprisingly found a run frequency high in the band
where the rates hit as high as 186/hr and sustained rate of 133/hr. I nearly
doubled my Q total in 2.5 hours. That was the best part of the whole contest
for me. Only go another 2 hours in Sunday morning and wasn't able to get any
good runs going. Then ran out of time and had to go to the 2nd hockey game of
the weekend. Another highlight was working CY0S on 40m on Friday evening as
well.

Not my best outing with the limited operating time. But, had a good time and
enjoyed a great run.

73,
Eric - NR4O
