Comments:

It was nice be called Saturday night by my good friend K7ABV with his QSO number
one. Thanks Eric! I heard some VE2s on Saturday but never pursued them and it
came back to bite me on Sunday. With the attenuated condx and huge unruly
pile-up on VE2FK I fell one short for the sweep. WIth the K at 6 I thought 6
meters might open up and sure enough there was a real nice opening to South
AMerica and the Carribean around 2000utc. I QSY'd to 6m and never made it back
to the sweepstakes. I had been getting pressure from the grandkids (their
parents were out of town) to get off the radio so I succumbed. Nice to be called
by Kay, N3KN. Also fun to QSO the memories of K4OJ and W1YL. Nor sure who was a
tthe key of W1YL but I felt it appropriate to send an 88.
