Comments:

I worked a ZL on 80m and then later another on a higher band and couldn’t
understand why the first ZL QSO wasn’t appearing on the New Zealand county
table. Eventually I realised that the 80m QSO was not with New Zealand but was
ZL7IO on the Chatham Islands.

On Sunday my wife found an owl had got into our house down a chimney, so I had
to catch it and let it out of a window.

The contest was exciting and so was the beautiful Tawny Owl.
