Comments:

Poor condx on Saturday, so I was ready to drop the towel. But Sunday the
propagation towards JA and W improved enough to keep me busy. I operated SO2R
partially (100 W on second radio) due to main amplifier tubes failure. I am
feeling that the number of JA contesters is decreasing, so the sponsors should
find a way to motivate them for the old RTTY mode. There are plenty JA operators
QRV in FT8... just another digital mode.
