Comments:

Major computer/set-up malfunction at the start of the contest after one
successful QSO. These problems were not corrected until near the end after a
painful full re-set of everything.

My apology to those who received "gibberish" from this station.  I
could tell you were hearing something because of the long pauses followed by
"??????????"

Still not sure what the problem was or how it happened.
